Which Teams Have Best Odds for SEC Title, Playoff Winner?
Texas, Georgia lead the way for SEC when it comes to betting odds for 2025 playoffs

The SEC failed to win a national championship for the second straight season as the Big Ten has planted the flag with title wins by Michigan and Ohio State.
While Texas survived a scare in the quarterfinals by Big 12 champions Arizona State, the Longhorns eventually fell to the Buckeyes 28-14. Coach Steve Sarkisian didn’t have such an eventful transfer portal haul, like most other teams in the playoff this season.
The Longhorns did sign the No. 1 high school recruiting class including impact freshmen Kaliq Lockett and Jonah Williams. With Arch Manning ready, he gives Texas major odds to win big in 2025.
Currently, Texas has the best odds to win the SEC championship in December at +210 which is nearly 200 points ahead of Georgia at +400. Alabama, Tennessee and LSU are the only other conference members with odds of +1000 or better, according to BetSaracen.

While Big Ten has three programs with national championship odds better than +1000 (Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State), the league seems to have control of college football. Texas has the next best odds at No. 2 with +550 which is 100 points behind defending champions Ohio State.
Ohio State is currently the favorite to repeat. Penn State is the only other program with better that +1000 odds.
