Which SEC QB has most pressure to perform in 2025?
Auburn quarterback can thrive under Freeze, under pressure to perform as former 5-star prospectg

Always College Football host Greg McElroy talked about which SEC quarterback has the most pressure to perform next season.
Auburn transfer quarterback Jackson Arnold is set to begin his first spring on The Plains hoping to flip expectations after having a less than stellar stint at Oklahoma.
“The biggest spring question for me when it comes to Auburn is how confident is Jackson Arnold, and how quickly can he develop chemistry with a really high-quality receiving corps,” McElroy said.
While his 63% completion percentage doesn’t tell the whole story, the former 5-star and No. 1 overall quarterback, only averaged 9.2 yards per completion. He did try to take care of the ball with a 12 touchdowns to three interception ratio with an additional 444 yards and two scores on the ground.
“It’s not about talent. It’s never been about talent with Jackson Arnold, it’s about playing with confidence and making great decisions,” McElroy said.
Auburn coach Hugh Freeze worked wonders with quarterbacks during his ascent to the college level. Since coming to Auburn, play under center has lacked a bit and he is putting all his stock in Arnold to finally reach his potential.
