Texas A&M WR commit Mike Brown

Texas A&M added blue-chip wide receiver Mike Brown as he pledged to the Aggies 2026 recruiting class Monday.

An Aggie legacy, Brown is the son of former Texas A&M linebacker Reggie Brown who played in College Station during the early-to-mid 1990’s. His pledge gives coach Mike Elko the No. 5 ranked class in 247sports 2026 recruiting rankings with three top 150 prospects.

The 5-foot-11, 175 pound athlete attends Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon in Spring, Texas and rated a 247sports composite 4-star. Brown is currently ranked as the No. 348 overall prospect in the country, No. 55 among wide receivers and No. 50 player in the Lone Star State for 2026.

Brown chose the Texas A&M Monday over a top four list that also included Alabama, Texas and Michigan. Other schools that extended offers included Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Mississippi State, Oregon Houston, Syracuse and Texas Tech.
