BATON ROUGE — LSU Tigers pair of starting linebackers Harold Perkins and Whit Weeks are expected to miss spring practice as they each recover from injuries this offseason, according to reports.

Both are expected to recover from their injuries in time for fall practice. Weeks suffered a broken fibula in the Advocare Texas Bowl that didn’t allow him to return for the Tigers final game.

He experienced a breakout season as a sophomore last season recording 125 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and one interception. His performance earned him first team All-SEC honors from both league coaches and AP Poll voters.

Former All-American, redshirt junior Harold Perkins, will miss spring ball while he continues to recover from an ACL tear he sustained in LSU’s fourth game against UCLA last season. Coach Brian Kelly and his staff likely hope he can return to form similar to his freshman and sophomore season where he recorded 26 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.

LSU will begin spring practice Saturday, March 8 and will conclude April 12. The Tigers bring in the No. 1 transfer portal haul of the offseason along with a high school signing class that ranked No. 8 nationally, according to 247sports.
